My name is Ignacio Etchegaray and I am a musician and music producer from Viedma, Patagonia Argentina.
To introduce myself, I’d like to show you a selection from the work that I’ve done over the years.

Besides that, perhaps the most important thing that I can currently say would be that I have just finished a new solo album that is ready for release.
The album is called love your love and I am already releasing singles and preparing the main release which will be soon.
Last week, I went to visit some labels and booking agencies in London because I’m trying to get some support for the launch and the live presentation.

On both albums of this project, I produced, played, recorded and mixed everything myself. Also made all the paintings and artwork of the new record.

To tell you a bit more about me, I’m 31 years old, I’ve been in bands since I was 15 and done a lot of other different things, but on the last 3 years I decided to focus my energy and efforts on slowly and eventually being able to work full time in music, specially with my own projects.

During this time, I have recorded and collected a lot of music (songs and electronic music) that I will be releasing during this and the next year, with plans to start playing live more steadily, both in Argentina and in Europe.

At the moment, I am working on putting together a solo band to present this new album, as I have never really played my solo material live properly yet.
I have the main players, which are mostly friends, and I might be taking a bank credit in Argentina to be able to finance the initial costs.
I have the intention to play as many shows and festivals as I can the next summer in Europe.

Previously to working mostly solo, I’ve been in a band called hasdee since 2010 that’s been on pause for a few years now, but this is some of the work we have done together:

In hasdee, we’ve always recorded, produced and managed everything ourselves, very low-budget DIY.
We got to win some prices from the National Ministry of Culture, for the best band on our region in 2017.

Among other music related things I’ve done, from Dec-2016 to Dec-2019, I founded and ran the first digital music aggregator from Argentina called La Flota – distribución digital, that I ended up selling to free time and fund my new projects.

Between 2015 and 2018, I also owned a small commercial studio in La Plata, near Buenos Aires, called Café África Estudio where I produced, recorded and mixed songs and records for other bands as well, such as this ones: 
La Chatarra Espacial – Pez (2016), Pixel (2016), Al Final del Arcoíris (2016). I eventually decided to stop working on other people’s music, and focus on hasdee’s and my own. 

Finally, for the last year or so, I’ve been preparing and setting up a little record label in Argentina called Sol Arriba Records, on which I will initially be putting out releases for my upcoming music.
